FAQ
-
I handle administrative tasks for mission-driven directors, executives, and entrepreneurs at for-profit and nonprofit entities of all sizes. I value discretion, communication, authenticity, accessibility, and inclusivity. If you value these things, let’s connect!
-
There are many causes I can get behind, and if I don’t know about an issue, I’m eager to learn about it from your perspective. That being said, I have my limits. If your mission is driven by homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, ableism, white supremacy, or Christian supremacy, I won’t work with you. If you’re concerned that your mission unintentionally crosses these boundaries, we can talk about it. It becomes a problem when you ignore it or you’re proud of it.
I reserve the right to decline work with anyone who I don’t think I align with or whose projects I can’t comfortably contribute to. To do my due diligence, I review every new client inquiry on a case-by-case basis.
for Inboxes
-
It depends on who the sender is:
If the emails are coming from a legitimate mailing list you’re no longer interested in, I’ll unsubscribe for you.
If the emails are not from a legitimate sender, I’ll redirect them to a junk folder.
Caveat: Unless you only accept emails from specific approved senders, I cannot guarantee that all spam will be filtered out. Most spammers use throwaway email addresses and change up their subject lines. Since I can’t predict new subject lines the spammers will conjure up, spam redirection isn’t 100% effective.
-
Yes, with rare exceptions. For the most part, what happens in your inbox stays in your inbox. However, I am a mandated reporter. There are certain things I’m legally obligated to report if I see them. There’s more information on this in the contract you’ll receive before officially deciding to work with me.
-
I will not be complicit in anything that goes against my ethics or morals, nor will I involve myself in anything that feels questionable.
Additionally, I will not break laws for my clients or myself. This includes both state/province laws and federal laws of both of our worksites.
-
I base this off of what you tell me. I won’t deem anything unimportant unless you explicitly say you don’t want or need to see it.
for Spreadsheets
-
No. If nothing changes except for which cells a formula is for, I consider it to be the same formula.
-
No. I’ll repeat the same formula for different cells as many times as you need me to.
-
That depends on the size of the order. My standard turnaround time is listed with each item. Please let me know if you need something in your hands by a certain date - before we agree to work together.
For turnaround times, the “clock” starts once I receive your information from Step 3 of my approach (see homepage).
If I deliver your spreadsheet before our agreed-upon deadline, you will not be charged extra.
-

Note: Rush fees are based on the agreed-upon delivery deadline, not the delivery date. If I deliver your spreadsheet earlier than expected, you will not be charged extra.
for Calendars
-
Before I start managing your calendar, we’ll discuss your typical working hours, your usual meal break times, how much time you need between calendar events, and anything else I need to work around.
-
I can if you’d like me to! I can also send a daily or weekly review of what’s coming up on your calendar.
-
I can schedule appointments through email, text, or social media. If you have a link or plugin for people to choose appointment times, I will direct people there.
At this time, I do not arrange appointments over phone/voice or video calls.
for Data Entry
-
Short-term: all data needs to be collected and entered within 1 month of hiring me.
Long-term: new data will be collected for more than 1 month and/or it’s expected to take me more than 1 month to finish entering all of the data.
-
Yes. If you also need me to make a new spreadsheet to enter data into, see my Spreadsheets service. Spreadsheet creation and data entry are charged as two separate services.
for Events
-
I’d be happy to plan:
Baby showers
Birthday parties
Wedding showers
Coming-of-age celebrations
Retirement parties
Family reunions
Don’t see your type of event listed here? Let’s still chat - I may be able to plan it!
-
No. I don’t consider myself to be a wedding planner, and I wouldn’t be able to dedicate enough time and availability to be one.
-
That depends on the size of the event and what needs to be coordinated. Generally speaking, I would need at least 30 days to plan anything larger than a meeting. Contact me to discuss how much time I’d need to make sure your event runs smoothly.
